Blake Shelton - Based On a True Story

If the name sounds familiar to you, chances are high you have been watching the televised competition The Voice.
Good choice of Blake to become a member of the jury on this show, because it made him a crossover star.
Blake isn't exactly a newcomer (this is his seventh album) but it has a reason he was asked for this TV Show. He may be a country artist but he also states that old farst don't buy records, kids do and they don't want to listen to their grandpa's music.
Now if you are from Europe you may think country music is about Dolly Parton or whatever, but to American Folks country music is traditional music filled with (their own) emotions, things you struggle with in life, a lost love or relative and so on. That does not mean everything needs to remain the same and Blake Shelton knows very well how to bring country music young people will like and buy.

Different worlds brought together, still keeping a Nashville sounds. This is the way you do it:
