Eddie Palmieri y Su Conjunto 'La Perfecta' - El Molestoso... Vol II

Hard to get album from this Bronx based Latin jazz pianist. One of two musical brothers (the other one is Charlie). Eddie was always willing to experiment and plays a lot of styles but also combined Latin music with pop and rock.
Eddie and his group are the originators of a sound called 'trombonga', introducing two trombones and a flute instead of trumpets. That not only lead to their success in the New York Latin scene, but later was also use by artists such as Manny Oquendo and not the least Willie Colon.
