Hot Chocolate - Man to man

I never really had a thing with soul or soul related music except for a short disco period in the eighties, simply because if you like to go out those days there was hardly an escape, but usually I was able to find me a joint that played more alternative music styles.
But as with most genres, I picked up stuff along the way and started to travel back in time and old soul records are simply irresistible to me now. But then again, although this IS an old soul record from 1976, Hot Chocolate happens to be one of those bands I DID like back then, mostly due to their quite unique sound plus the fact they were soul funk. I don't know why but soul, except for some sixties Motown wasn't my thing and pure funk wasn't my thing either, but soul disco-ish funk somehow touched my spine.

But okay, watching Kojak and then hearing a song as 'Heaven Is In the Backseat of My Cadillac....' I mean, seriously, how can one resist?

Great clip by the way, starting of with a countdown of the top 30 from that moment. Memory lane.....
