Sam Mangwana et l'African All Stars 79 - Suzana Coulibaly
I am a big fan of soukous and when you are Sam Mangwana should most definitely be in your collection. He is a former member of both Tabu Ley Rocherau's Africa Fiesta and Franco's TPOK Jazz. In 1976 he formed his own band, L'African All Stars and his music shifted to a lighter, more Caribbean sound.
Since I am interested in the history and crossover of African and Caribbean music, this is like a missing link which is a little closer to something like Zouk music.
