The Stylistics - Sun & Soul

Ah this is really retro-cult music for me, back into the seventies with old soul. The Stylistics as a band was even formed in the sixties, 1968 to be exactly and next to the O-Jays and the Spinners they were the third most influencing Philly-Soul band.
They had some pretty big hits over the years, but most of those were ballads. In some cases it would have been better if they'd stick to that. For instance this album starts with their version of 'Shame and Scandal in the Family'. I never new they recorded that and I wish I never did, it's grotesque.

Let's stick with the ballads:

Good Old Times, when you bought a complete vinyl record for just 99 cents and OWN the damn thing in stead of paying 99 cents for 1 freakin' song and you don't owe shit but the right to play it
