Herman Brood is best to describe as Sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. His life was a roller coaster of playing music creating art and doing drugs. And believe me he was very good at all three. This album was made for his 60th birthday together with friends and fellow artists joining them for songs in both English and Dutch, some own work and some tracks by others. Just in time... At the age of 54 he decided it was enough and jumped down from the top of the Hilton hotel in Amsterdam. his work remains, not only in the music or in the art, of which all off turned out to be copies, but also in merchandise like T-shirts and posters. Best day to remind him will always be on a Saturday night....
