Bulgarian folk music has many fans worldwide that learn to play traditional tunes, sing them and perform the original dances.
But these five musicians go a little further than just that. Not only the compose songs of their own but also they work together with original singers Yanka Rupkina, Manol Mihailov and the kaval player Stoyan Velichkov.
The voices of Rupkina and Mihailov give a very authentic sound to the material although some are traditional, some are written by Rupkina and some are written by the musicians of Balkan Transit.

Really nice music which sometimes gives you the feeling you are lost somewhere in the middle ages.
