True downloading is free, but I happen to be one of those people that would buy a record for the sleeve only.
And don't give me any of the bullshit downloading does not do right to the artist bla bla bla. I am talking vinyl here. If I could buy those over here I would, but I can't. And I am not going to pay 30 bucks for a mini frisbee in a plastic box with a piece of paper as a cover.
I also refuse to pay one fucking dime for downloadable songs that only give you the right to play it (you won't owe the song) until Itunes and others will release an affiliate program so people all around the world are able to set up (if they do not already have) dedicated blogs and sites where you can find for instance everything you ever wanted to know about early blues music and download it. In stead of being dragged to a dumb website for all where they keep pushing shit in your face, you are absolutely not interested in (probably because they get paid for it).
Having that said back to the album I do not know shit about and would be impossible to buy anyway (unless you are willing to pay a 125 to 205 American Dollars for a second hand in mint condition (No I am not kidding) ).
I am not even sure where these guys com from, since I saw the labeled for both Mexican and Cuban traditions, but I did find one of the songs on youtube.
By the way: the genre tropical may sound a little weird (like oh yeah that is tropical stuff, whatever), but it is an official genre, used for records that contain more styles within one record (which Latin albums often do, like merengue, salsa, son montuno and so on).
Too bad I could not find the first track of the album on line (A Gozar Curacao).
