Sade - Diamond Life

Multiple award winning Helen Folassade Adu actually studied fashion in London and also dis some modelling when returning with her English mother to the UK. She has an African father and is born in Nigeria.

Fun fact: the record company was planning on putting on their (her band has the same name) albums is should be pronounced as shar-day. Well that turned out to be unnecessary for sure. Diamond Life, their debut album rocketed into the charts, worldwide, including the Billboard 100, hitting number 1 position in multiple countries and Sade became one of the big stars of the eighties (and beyond).

The album contains several big hits like 'Hang On to Your Love', 'Your Love Is King' and of course 'Smooth Operator'.
Also it includes a nice cover of one of the best R&B songs of all time, 'Why Can't We Live Together' (Timmy Thomas), but my song of choice is a song I disliked before, but started to appreciate more and more in time:
