A lot of people think this is the first album by Santana, but it is actually the second. And to many many people this is still the best Santana album ever, even though Santana made numerous records over the years, and some very very good ones as well.
But this is the album containing not only their version of 'Black Magic Woman' but also those two world hits in Spanish which everyone knows: Oye Como Va and especially the ever so beautiful Samba Pa Ti.Plus this is the album Santana set his characteristic guitar sound with. All around the world, as up to date, people only need to hear one single note from that guitar and know: Santana!
Unbelievable this album is from 1970 and today is still just as strong and powerful as it was back then. Only the great can do something like that. Santana proved that by still being around today after a career of over 40 years of great music.
