I grew up with Punk and New Wave, so a new wave/post-punk revival band can always count my voice anyway, but besides that, this is just a really really good album. They play a lot of their songs almost at the speed of eighties American garage bands, although the songs are not that short. Fun fact: two out of three band members of the first hour were tutors at a project named 'Sunderland City Detached Youth Project'. They try to get kids of the street to have them play music instead. The rest of the line-up of this band also comes from the same project. I think that's cool.
