The Notorious B.I.G. - Greatest Hits

Like there is rivalry between some football (soccer) teams there has always been a rivalry between East Coast rappers and West Coast rappers. And like with most rivalry it eventually went too far. Being Tupac Shakur the first victim six months later it was Big's turn. The violence in the streets that he knew to describe and tell so well, often with a good sense of humor brought mister Biggie Smalls to his grave. And that is a shame and a waste, because his songs and fine lazy beats are still significant. 'Hypnotize' even made it to my fav playlist and believe me, it takes a lot to get into my top 1000 and stay there.

Biggie Smalls didn't need to built an underground audience first, with his talent he made it right into the charts and he could have brought us many more good songs. Too bad...
