Willy (also known as Willie) Chirino is from Cuba originally but moved to Miami, Florida where he became one of the leading artists when it comes to the Miami sound of Salsa.And that is exactly my problem with this album. Although it contains some really good tracks, some tracks are really too much 'Barry Manilow/Copacabana' sound to me.
Nevertheless if you do like that sound, Chirino is a must have to your collection. He got numerous awards for his work and his songs are covered by many other artists.
