This UK Band were big in Europe but with all their potential they did not receive as much attention as they should have in the US, home of the soul. Now not every song on this album is a great song, which is not so strange since the album exists of two vinyl records, one with ten and one with fifteen tracks, pretty rare for a 1974 album.
Still it contains some very, very good tracks like 'You Could Have Been a Lady', 'Bump and Dilly Down', 'You're a Natural High' and most of all the real tearjerker 'Emma' about a man's girlfriend, an aspiring actress who commits suicide.
