Hip Hop Essentials Vol. 1

An amazing collection of old school rap gathered by Tommy Boy. 12 CD's will guide you through the 80s up until the late 80s when Hip Hop really hit it off and conquered the world with tremendously big hits such as Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight".

If you like Hip Hop old style you really need to lay tour hands on this collection that cuts off in 1991. Loads of well known tracks will find their way through the wires and sooth your ears, but even the lesser known tracks are imported tracks from the same period that you may recognize.
Listening through the CD's you will understand why some tracks not only deserved to be at the top of the rankings, but also were very important songs in their time, influencing others to follow and changing the way Hip Hop evolved.
