The All-American Rejects - Move Along

Originally the All American Rejects are not a band but a duo consisting of Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler who formed 'the band' when they were still in high school. 

Because it is impossible to play several instruments at the same time, playing live they worked with pre-recorded rhythm tracks and a drum computer and decided to do just the same for their first self titled album.

Still the release on an independent label (Doghouse) draw enough attention and the album was reissued on another label that was able to bring it to the rest of the American public (DreamWorks). The success of their first single draw the attention of an even bigger label (Interscope) and Mike Kennerty (guitar) and Chris Gaylor (drums) joined the Rejects for this second album. And with success: three hit singles were released and the album went platinum.
